Bee Frontier is Amazon’s first wristband since it bought the start-up Bee, a deal announced in 2025. Released on October 15, 2026, it is worn on the wrist or clipped to your clothes, listens to your conversations and turns them into summaries, to-dos and draft emails or calendar events. It has no screen: everything is read in the Bee app.
Prices quoted were checked on Amazon.com on October 19, 2026, with delivery to New York, and may have changed since: always check the price shown by the store before buying. Specifications are those announced by the makers and reported by the press; Picksly has not tested these devices.
What does Bee Frontier do?
The band records what is said around you, and the app draws three things from it: a summary of each conversation, to-dos spotted in what was said, and prepared actions. Connected to Gmail, Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, the app drafts a follow-up email or creates an event when you talked about one.
According to the press, Frontier is smaller and lighter than Bee’s first band, is water-resistant (IP67), charges over USB-C and lasts about seven days on a charge. It comes in three colors: Onyx, Lavender and Sage.
Price and the Bee Pro subscription
Frontier costs $74.99 on Amazon.com, with no mandatory subscription: the basic features are free. Bee Pro, at $11.99 a month, adds unlimited summaries, suggested to-dos and the link with Alexa+, Amazon’s assistant. Over a year, the subscription costs almost twice the price of the band.
What happens to the audio?
Bee says it processes audio in real time and deletes the raw recording after transcription. That is a privacy argument, but it has a practical consequence: you cannot listen to a conversation again, only read what was drawn from it. A recorder that keeps the audio, like Plaud’s, is a better fit if you need to find an exact sentence.
A device that listens all day also records the people around you. Some US states require every participant’s consent to record a conversation: check the rules before wearing it in a meeting.

Which one for your profile?
- 🟢 Budget: Bee Frontier, at $74.99, if the free features are enough for you. With the Pro subscription, it stops being the cheapest after a few months.
- 🟣 Smart: Plaud Note, at $159, the model rated best by the largest number of buyers, and it keeps the audio.
- 🔵 Premium: Plaud Note Pro, at $189, the top of the Plaud range.

Bee announced Bee Eclipse at the same time: a card that attaches magnetically to the back of your phone, announced at $99.99 with more than 21 days of battery life. No release date had been given as of October 19.
Is Bee Frontier sold outside the US?
Not yet: on October 19, 2026, it was listed neither on Amazon.fr nor elsewhere in Europe, and Amazon.com would not ship it to France. We will check again in a month.
