Terms of use

Last updated: October 30, 2026

These terms apply to any use of Picksly: the picksly.fr website, the Android app, the browser extension and the MCP server for AI assistants. Using Picksly means accepting these terms.

Who publishes Picksly

Picksly is published by a French micro-enterprise (sole proprietorship) registered under SIREN 104 124 904. Contact: contact@picksly.fr. Full legal information is in the legal notice.

The service

Picksly helps you choose a tech product (smartphone, tablet, laptop, smartwatch…) for a buyer profile — Budget, Smart or Premium — and a budget. It shows scores, prices read at stores, and links to those stores’ pages.

Picksly is free and works without an account. An optional account keeps your preferences, followed products and price alerts; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, and you can delete your account at any time.

Scores and information

Scores are indicative. Picksly calculates them from measurements published by sources cited on each product page (performance, battery life, camera…), with a method described on the How Picksly works page. Picksly does not test products itself, and its scores are not customer reviews.

A score can change when a measurement is added or corrected, or when the price changes. It helps you compare; it does not replace the manufacturer’s information or your own judgement.

Prices and offers

Prices are read at third-party stores and dated: each offer shows the date it was last read. The price and availability may have changed since. Only the price and terms shown by the store when you order are binding.

Purchases

Picksly sells nothing and takes no payment. A purchase link opens the store’s page: ordering, payment, delivery, warranty, returns and the right of withdrawal are the store’s responsibility, under its own terms. Picksly is not a party to the sales contract.

Affiliate links

Some links to stores are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, Picksly may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. What affiliation changes in what is shown is explained on the How Picksly works page.

AI assistants (MCP server)

Picksly provides a public MCP server at https://picksly.fr/api/mcp, which an AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude…) can query. It works without an account and is read-only: it returns scores, dated prices, links to Picksly pages and affiliate purchase links; it places no order and changes no data. How to use it: Picksly in AI assistants.

The answer you read is written by the assistant you use, from Picksly’s data: Picksly is responsible for the data it provides, not for how an assistant rephrases it. The number of calls per address is limited, so that the service stays available to everyone.

Use of the service

You agree to use Picksly fairly: do not try to disrupt the service, to get around its call limits or to extract its content in bulk. Picksly may restrict access from an address that does so.

Intellectual property

The name, logo, texts and scores published by Picksly are protected. You may quote a score or a price, naming Picksly as the source with a link to the page concerned; any other reproduction needs prior consent.

Liability

Picksly is provided as is. We do our best to keep the information accurate and up to date, without being able to guarantee it: a wrong price, score or link remains possible, and the service may be interrupted, for example during an update. Picksly is not responsible for the content of stores’ websites or for purchases made there. These limits apply to the extent permitted by law and do not remove any right the law gives you as a consumer.

Does an offer look wrong? The “Report a problem with this offer” button on product pages, or an email, lets us correct it.

Changes

These terms may change with the service. The date of the last update is at the top of this page; the version online when you use Picksly is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please write to contact@picksly.fr first, to look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the rules that allow a consumer to go to the court of their place of residence.
